Each of the Connect Project National teams will undertake four national workshops to move through the project activities and engage with key stakeholders
The below diagram show the project activities including the national workshops taking place each year in the three countries (in dark blue).
The objectives of the first Connect project national workshops were nationally defined, but some common themes include:
- Launch the Connect project in each country
- Introduce Political Economy Analysis (PEA) Toolkit guidance document
- Introduce Global Review of Biodiversity Information Landscape
- Present National Action Plan
A workshop report from each country will be made available on the project website in due course.
The first national workshops took place on the following dates:
Ghana - Thursday 2nd to Friday 3rd November 2017
Mozambique - Wednesday 8th to Thursday 9th November 2017
Uganda - Monday 27th to Tuesday 28th November 2017
